Both men and women deserve the same right under the law. They have the same right to
live. They can also get an education, go to work, get married, decide their
future, and do everything they want as long as it’s legal. They can join every
kind of social works, volunteer for charity or organization, and still receive
the same credits and outcomes.

Sangkran - Khmer New Year 2019

The event is called "Sangkran Paññāsāstra". It is celebrated in the purpose of welcoming the upcoming new year, spreading widely about Khmer tradition, and strengthen relationship between students and other participants.
Here is a video of Khmer New Year celebration at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) on Sunday, 31st March 2019 organized by a student club at PUC called Khmer Youth Goodwill Mission (KYGM), associated with other clubs.

This event includes cultural and religious activities, popular dances and games, as well as an exhibition of food booths.

Remembering 17 April 1975 in Cambodia

When we talked about Khmer Rouge, it reminds people about the pain that Cambodians suffered, the death of millions of people, and the cruelty of Pol Pot and his people which they called “Angka”. This darkest period of Cambodia's history had left the most painful wound and the deepest scar on Cambodian’s hearts. Thanks to 7 January 1979, we finally left the dark and step into the light of peace. That is the reason why 7 January is always remembered by Cambodian people.
